VIETNAMESE STUDENT ASSOCIATION

In celebration of the Lunar New Year, the Vietnamese Student Association proudly hosted the annual Lunar New Year Festival on February 18th in Rudder Plaza from 7 PM- 9 PM. This event was filled with free food, activities, and live cultural performances. Students, staff, and faculty were able to come out and learn about Lunar New Year traditions.

This was my first event as an event coordinator back in 2018 and the overall planning process took about 2 months. Moving forward I am now the event coordinator for all VSA events and they have become a very near and dear client. Lunar New Year every year is always exciting and full of culture. With nearly 300 guests, VSA never fails to show off their culture and encourage thoughtful conversations.
