Making Dreams Come True
My first event was in the 4th grade. It was a baby shower for my teacher and the mission was to coordinate a party to ensure all in the class were excused from a test. While delegating decorations, snacks, and gifts, I also coordinated students to go next door and have another teacher distract our teacher so we all could set the entire party up in less than 10 min. The event was a success and YES, the test was postponed!
18 years later, I have traveled the country executing events such as galas, recreation activities, talent competitions, and conventions within a wide variety of organizations such as a fortune 100 company, small business, and higher education. With over a decade of event coordination experience, I too wanted to ensure my success by further educating myself in the art of communication and public relations. In 2017 I received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Public Relations from Columbus State University. Soon after, I then wanted to develop my training and coordination skills. In 2021, I earned my Masters of Science in Education Human Resources Training and Development from the prestigious Texas A&M University.
Continuing on this journey I plan on contributing to the years of event coordination experience and years of training and development practice. As I continue to venture out towards new opportunities I encourage everyone along my journey to stop and enjoy every event possible. Whether you are planning for a fortune 100 gala, a small business princess party, or just trying to get out of a test, remember the minor details make for the greatest differences!
Sincerely,
