NATIONAL ROBOTICS COMPETITION

EVENT DESCRIPTION
TAMU Robo Masters hosted the first-ever North American Robo Master University League competition in 2019 at Texas A&M University. This event served to provide the entire North American Robo Masters community with the opportunity to compete this year after receiving the news the international competition was canceled.

With 13 Robo Master Teams from around the country competing, groups were able to show off their technical and engineering prowess through the DJI Robo Masters Competition, pitting non-destructive fighting robots against each other in a MOBA-inspired IRL game.

This event proved both facilitation, coordination, and audiovisual difficulties. However, this event served to teach me many skills in program management, facility management, and audio-visual abilities within higher education.
